Infographic and scheme realized for an international foundation (confidential) on the subject of Mind-reading. The scheme describes the work of Metzger et al entitled « A high-performance neuroprosthesis for speech decoding and avatar control », published in 2023 in the journal Nature. It presents the design of a new brain-computer interface allowing a person with severe paralysis to communicate in real time. The infographic shows the mind-reading applications and technologies that we could expect in a short-term future vs. the capabilities fantasised about in the films and TV series that surround us.
